are the brembo max disks gonna be any better than the standard setup with just standard pads?

I do the Brembo discs and EBC brake pads, and they stop very well indeed.

Discs are 30 each and pads are 58.28 all +VAT

Nope better disk are the only ay to better braking ds2500's are great for stopping power. Make sure you stick some decinet fluid in the car though as ds2500's has boiled my fluid out (standard Renault stuff) when I've been hammering it on track.

sorry to drag this thread out, cheers. russ

The cables are wear indicators that connect to wires in the braking system that then warn you on dashboard, that pads are running low and worn out. Don't use them as there's no where for them to go on your car.

As Chris said the cables arn't needed the brakes fit other cars whcih will use the senors.
They should make for better braking never tried them myself the most important thing though is to bleed your brakes and stick some good fluid in as this makes a hugfe difference so many people thing ther brakes are good as they've chnaged there pads but bleeding the fluid would have done just the same.
