New to the forum,i have a 2001 clio 4 door thats going in for an mot tomorrow,only prob is that the drivers side,rear passenger door is not opening???
I have taken the door card off,inspected thinking that the long wire has came of the catch???
There seems to be 3 latches to the mechanism with regards to opening the door
Mechanism
1.the outside door handle theres the mechanism it seems to be fine and operating as i can slide my hand up and feel the rod moving with opening the door handle (outside).
2. the actual door pin at the top inside the car,it seems to operate fine i can see it moving,but it does not move very much when you operate the fob for automatic locking????
3.the inside door handle,this seems to work fine but now after 3-4 hrs poking about seems not to be moving (the actual latch)
It just seems as if theres something wrong with the lock itself??? the door is closed and basically will not open at all bit off a annoying one really.....!
Not sure if anyone can help on this or give some info-guidance but would appreciate any help
