2002 172 gearbox??????

Does a 2002 172 gearbox fit a 2000 172 car?????

Welcome to Cliosport.

It will fit but the later box has slightly shorter gear ratios, also the later box does not have the speed sensor fitted for the speedo.

how do i get the speedo to work?

If it's a cup box it will have the speedo fitted to the box, the FF 172 Ph2 takes it's speedo reading from the ABS.

No idea Im afraid, Im not sure if the speedo from the old box will slot into the new one. Im not sure how the speedo works.
