Ok so hoping for some help on this!
I have had it twice when my car has the orange injection system fault light appear (No other lights on) when I am accelerating. Rectangle orange box, dead centre below low fuel warning.
The revs then seem to hold at about 2500 ish and I cannot get any more power. Limp mode?
When stopping the car and fault light is still on, the revs hold at 2500 ish.
I have a cheap OBD2 reader and no faults are present.
I turned the car off and on, with a short pause between, and the car was fine.
There has been 2 weeks between the fault occurring with no other issues.
The car will be serviced over Xmas but is there anything else I should look at doing? Seems to be electrical so maybe some wire damage?
