2003 1.2 oil filter question

An acquaintance has one of these and was wondering if the oil filter was a replacement element or entire filter. My 172 Cup has always had entire filters, but I'm not sure about the 1.2.

Any help appreciated.

3 different ones, need to know which you have, the most common is a black plastic tube just behind the drivers side wheel chassis leg, it has a replaceable paper element
