2003 172 drive shaft question?

just had a look around my 172 for the mot next month and noticed the os drive shaft inner cv boot is split. i have had a look on the forum and theres people who say you can but a replacement boot and some say you have to buy the full shaft.just wondering if anyone knows if you can buy the boot from the main dealer or the best place to get one? cheers

Not to sure, id go with renault direct myself, its where i got mine from.

Speak to West Renault on here, he should be able to help

Just replace the boot if the drive shaft looks ok, why replace it if its nor broken?. A new inner boot from Renault is around £40
