2004 dci100 rattling noise

I have a dci100 MkII clio which has done 18,700 miles. There is a
knocking/rattling noise coming from the engine compartment when the car is under acceleration. I cant hear it when I'm stationary or the car is idleing. I THINK the noise may be there when cruising at 60/70 but cant be sure due to other engine noise.

The car is under warranty but would like to have some ideas before I take it to the garage as I'm sure they'll say its a normal noise.

Just did a quick search and found a post by 'Maz' in which someone said that it could be the Carbon Cannister, the symptoms sound exactly like mine. Does my car even have a carbon cannister and would it be replaced under warranty? How can I find this and tell whether it is this or not?
