200bhp ?



hi people first of im just after buying a clio 182 cup and must say i love it 2 bits...but im looking to take it a wee bit faster .to what kind of power can i gain without doing anything major.. ? looking to take it to 200bhp atleast.

or the quick easy answer rather than trolling through 20 pages of arguments is:

inlet match
exhaust
decat
panel filter
cams (optional)
remap

Without cams you will hit 190-200bhp, with your pretty much guaranteed 200bhp or more...

The only decent gains are through a turbo but only if you got 6k spare.

How much would similar achieve in the Ph1 172? 190 without?

I'm not interested in cams, no interest in throwing that much money at a car. On the verge of getting the angelworks inlet manifold. Have a cat back system so a decat should be going in in the near future. Thinking of maybe relocating the battery and dropping out the front left spot plus buying a BMC CDA or similar... would those mods, theoretically, achieve 190-200 with a remap?

Theres so many threads regarding same it's not feasible to get through them all in work.

When relocating the battery where do people bring the positive cable through the firewall??
