2017 trends (neons comeback)

Came across this earlier (https://www.carthrottle.com/post/8-new-car-trends-thatll-hit-the-scene-in-2017/) which amongst other things predicts the return of the amazing, outrageous and slightly sickening early 2000's max power type modded cars with neons and crazy spoilers. Anybody seen anything around yet that might indicate some truth in this or is everyone still caught up on their stance?

Whenever anyone starts an article talking about SEMA I automatically asume they're septics, also Rocket Bunny and Liberty Walk body kits are usually bolted to Jap cars in the US, only ever heard of the drift scene mentioning them over here, I could be wrong though but to me it reads like a yank wrote it.

I've seen a number of cars with tyre writing and neons, all at JDM meets, and mostly driven by teenagers in tracksuits and snapbacks.

I was a victim to the tyre lettering, thought it looked pretty sweet if I'm honest tho forever redoing as it tends to crack very easily

I thought Wingo And DJ were much cooler than Snotrod, Boost looked a little bit tame. But the colour coded neons looked good on them.

I still see a few outrageous ones but nothing like they used to be...probs for the best
