205/5015's on 8's

Would 205 50 15's be to much of a stretch on 8's with the odd track day thrown in to ?? thinking of getting a set of federals now my T1R's are bald

Ive got 195/50/15's on the back of my mx5 and thats not even massive stretch, 205 should be fine but I think 215 is recommended.

Already running 215/45/15's mate but apart from T1R's nothing decent without doubling price for michelins !!
