His one allows you to tweak the map as you drive around with it as well apparently, far better than the normal one then where you can only upload a pre-written cal.
And no mention of needing a license unlock code on this one either, just plug in and go apparently.

Must be worth thousands or he is just a bellend, im going to guess its the latter.

It can plot a power graph based on the weight of your car and how quickly it accelerates yes. Wouldn't take as gospel though.
