2118's Fitted With full Photoshoot

  Turbo Beige
meggerman - can't really say yet, have only done around 50 miles and becasue i changed to different tyres and lowered the suspension a bit more at the same time the improvements are a combination.

Renault_boy - they are 15x7 and i got them in ET43

fmp_ - brakes only just fit, had to remove the inner balance weights and do a little filing to miss a couple of high spots on the rims, but they are on and they move.

MarkM - Brakes are awesome, single best mod so far. I keep telling everybody the same things, the pedal 'feel' is actually there and they just stop time after time. I would deffinately recomend them to anybody who did any track work.

Looks great. Are the calipers much lighter than the renault ones and are they properly dust sealed for road use?

CAllipers are unbeleivably light compared to the standard items.

As are the discs, which helps unsprung weight!

The callipers are not dust sealed as such. The dont need to be, as they are precision made, from aircraft grade aluminium, so they wont corrode.

All that is needed is a quick clean every few months or so, which is no hassle if you regularly maintain and check your car.

For anyone interested they are 750 plus Vat for full setup.

Daft question Pye....but I was on a train from Preston to Ormskirk then on to Aintree and saw a blue clio with same/similar wheels parked up next to some units from the train.Just not sure where on the route it was...maybe yours?

Either way it looks v nice m8

Lol thats going to be the one then. I was going to put a spotted about it. As said above looked very nice m8. I was going to go white but I'm not the best at keeping my car clean so they would look dirty most of the time lol

They do get dirty very quick!!!

Do you get much brake dust?

What pads did you spec with your kit?

What are they like when they are cold?

Just the same really, couldn't say there is more or less.

I have DS2500 pads in, which are amazing in these brakes. I hated them in standard calipers.

Pretty good, i would say level pegging with warmish standard setup with DS2500. Then once the pads are warm they are amazing.

Love these wheels but they are a bit heavy no?

About the same as the 16'' Pro Race 1.2's that came off. Lighter than standard anyway.

The Shed motorsport kit comes with a choice of Hawk pads doesnt it?
