28 years old, 8 years no claims - Which insurer?

28, 8 years no claims, no points, 8000 miles a year, secure residential parking, std 172 Cup

Paying £470 protected NC.

Direct line haven't lowered my renewal in 3 years so I'm looking for other insurers. Any idea's for someone my age and with my no claims?

I'd rip their bloody arm off for £470. You must live in a decent area - I can't get anywhere near that premium and I'm 31 with over 10 years no claims.... :dapprove:

You tried elephant and bell? Its only £430 for me and my mrs in her name, both 26, shes been driving 6 yrs, 2 ncb, me been driving 18 mths no ncb. Thats on a 172 cup at 8k per annum

have you tried getting a "new" quote from your current insurer??
My premium never seemed to go down with whoever i was insured with. So i'd cancel at the end of every year & then buy online from the same company and it was always lower, i don't think i've ever just carried on my insurance.

theyre decent and prepared to haggle so if they dont come back with a competitive quote then tell them the price you expect.

A lot of the Jap lot are with them, and if your still thinking of a CTR, then they will be a lot better than UKI (who arent CTR friendly)
