2k paint help

  Cup In bits
I am looking for a graphite grey/anthracite paint to do my cars interior and cage, I have been recommended to do it in 2k paint as it won't require a lacquer coat and with it being tricky to paint the inside, it would be better to avoid the lacquer which tends to run easier than base coats.

My Q is if you can get metallic 2k paints, from some searching I have done I found a site that sell's aluminium flakes in fine, coarse etc. Im sure they could be added to a pre mixed colour to give my desired effect, im not up to speed with painting and paints so any help would be good.

Cheers

firstly clear over base is easy to apply, most of the time clear runs because it has been mixed too thin

when you talk about flakes, are you on about metalflake? if you are metalflake is mixed into clearcoat, not basecoat

Im trying to reduce costs involved in painting the interior hence not wanting to use base coat and clear coat plus for patching in repairs when mods or scratched etc, just easier all round if its a 2k colour, hard wearing as well I have been told.

The site I was on listed it in the 2k base coat colours so im guessing its to be added to the base coat.I know what metal flake is im sure its not that lol.
