3/4 number plates

  52 1.2 clio
iv seen a fair few clios with 3/4 front plates on now and they look much better but where do yous get them from?

are they legal and will my car pass an mot with them? also what do yous do with the rear plate 3/4 that aswell or just leave it.

any links would be much appreciated

Just get the front. I never had problems with the police with mine.
What I did though is stick it on with velcro that you can get from Halfrauds, which means come MOT time you can easily swap them back over.

Or to add, if you get pulled by the police, I always kept my standard in the boot, so you can easily swap them over whilst they are there. Say that you forgot to change back after a car show or something, and if they are in a good mood, might not give you a tasty fine.

  Turbos.
Never had an issue. Even parked my car in front of two police officers once and they didn't notice. Got through an MOT too (although that was a mistake, didn't plan to take that risk!).

Just don't get a silly font, and it helps if you have a private reg. By having less letters/numbers, it's not so obvious the plate is smaller as it's not cluttered.
