30-70mph - what times

Anyone done any 30-70 testing in their clio? Anyone know what a cup should do it in? And is the standard test to start from a steady 30 then floor it?

my mates got a mini with a blackbird engine in it. i will give you his no if ya want & u can ask him how to do the conversion. its relatively simple.

it goes like snot of a stick.

My Williams with a stopwatch is about 6 secs. Sometimes a bit under, sometimes a bit over. My speedo over-reads by 3-4mph up to 70mph. Its just under 4mph out at 30mph and the same at 70mph so I do 35-75! so its not bad for a rough guide.

Just looking at some AP22 data now. My Williams does it (totally std) in 6.5 seconds.

One off run from a Cup - 5.79 seconds

One off AP22 run from a Hartge Cooper S - 5.75 seconds

Dont know what mine does 30-75 in but it can do 50-75 in 4th in 5.5secs

Round the twisties Im sure willys are as quick.

Thanks for the responses all. I was asking because Ive done a very crude video and overlayed a timer onto the video, and I reckon 5.9 was my time. This doesnt allow for any speedo inaccuracies, and it was raining.
