The Megane at 300 is faster than my Evo at 350 so yeah should be good :)

With the cams in I expect 400hp with similar boost to now so it should still drive well!

Paul foolishly let me take this out for a spin today and I can vouch for it being awesome, the power delivery is so smooth and progressive it really compliments the chassis. The part throttle responsiveness is really good and allows you to hold a steady accurate line through bends before firing out of the other side with a solid surge of power all the way to the red line.

Well done mate, I can see this becoming a very popular conversion as it changes the character of the car dramatically and definitely for the best :D

Do I get another go when you get your cams in ;)

  53 Clio's & counting
Wow brilliant Paul - sounds mental!

Glad to see its all up together, as last time I was up with you it was above our heads on the ramp with the front still off it lol

Top work Paul, looks like an animal! Might be coming up in the coming months to see if you stretch a few more ponies from the Cup, and would like a passenger ride in this! ;)

Lol I have a good idea about who that is! If he was as good as he makes himself out to be, then why was he dropped by his previous employer! ;)

I bet that is an amazingly capable machine. Must be a true weapon around a circuit :approve:

Plus 350hp is the minimum for hot hatches in 2011

What's a screamer pipe

It's an unsilenced pipe off of an external wastegate. Basically, when the wastegate is open gases bypass the turbo. A normal road car has a wastegate inside the turbo, but with an external wastegate you can just vent the gases straight out into atmosphere rather than the exhaust if you want.

Are you going to manage to keep the pistons within the block, was about this time last year you popped one wasn't it? Same day you mapped my mates Ibiza TDI for meth IIRC.

It's not stock anymore so yes, pistons will be staying put this time ;)
