36,000 Service Parts Needed

Well Renault want £255 to service my 182 so i've decided to buy the parts myself and take it to my local garage - my question is exactly what parts do I need??

Aux belt kit, air, oil, cabin filters, new oil and inspect the brakes, shocks, tyres and exhaust. Check windscreen washer, brake fluid, coolant, air con effectivness, powersteering fluid and gearbox oil levels.

That's very cheap! Surely can't include the aux belt?

well I told them it was the 36,000 mile service and thats what they quoted me

i'd double check tbh. Chances are they've not priced it in.

ok i'll check. how often does the aux belt need doing? and not meaning to sound thick but the aux belt isn't the cam/timing belt is it??

no thats the cam/timing belt
aux belt runs other the componants etc

so should the aux belt be done every 12,000miles then at the same time its serviced?

No its 36k/5yrs although the cambelt is 72k/5yrs so if its getting close to 5yrs old it wants/will want the cambelt doing soon.
