36k Service + Clutch

Hello, Im 6k off my 36k service and was hoping to get a heads up on price/what needs doing as I have heard its not going to be cheap.

The other thing is my clutch biting point has slipped all the way to the top of the pedal, I can remember it being high before, but not this high. Its not slipping and I would of thought a clutch would last a lot longer than 30k which makes me think its a cable issue maybe?

Any thoughts/help much appreciated!

Just to let everyone know TCR (total control racing) anyone who follows the clio cup series will know who they are !
They are now doing work on road cars servicing, cam belt, etc,
they are also a superchips dealer.

They have been looking after my car for 4 years now as I know Lee and Kenny , but havent been doing work for every body as they just do clio and cupra cup race cars for the race series.
They have now expanded to do road cars too and soon MOT'S.
They did my cam and aux belt last year .

Like I said they have been looking after my 172ff for four years now and I cannot recomend them highly enough NEVER had any problems with the work they have done for me .

wow, my clutch is on 70k+ , still fine

I'm getting mine done though , togther with cambelt service this week just out of precaution.

30k does'nt sound right to me, speaking of own experience with mine doing over 70k and still being fine. Yes i thrash the car too

Yeah, thought 30k seemed a bit odd, its not like its a frigging race car!

Dave- Will be dropping TCR a line about the service, Not only are renault expensive I get the impression I know more about there products than they do given the clowns that have had a go at my car before.

just had a quote of £159+vat including aux belt, and 90+vat if the tensioner needs doing as well.

Glad to see you still have the 182.

I'd pop down Carlton Garage in Exmouth, great service and a great price.

I'm sure the clutch is fine, just let them know you want it checked.

Aye, shes still with me! no grey stripes any more though! also have changed the Exhaust for a miltek and uprated a lot of the brake parts now to.

i got mine done but they never changed the tensioner pulley and now that has died make sure you get it done to be on the safe side or your car will sound alot like mine.............................

Oh dear, that doesnt sound like much fun! What exactly does it do anyway? I Notice by what it says about your car your chuffed with it!
