36K Service question....

Bought my 02 Dynamique about 3 months ago and it is due for it's 36K service (I have clocked up 4500 miles in 3 months... ).

Purchased the 1 year extended RAC warrenty when I bought the car, question I have is I know I have to follow the service history re: mileage, period of duration between services etc) as part of the terms of the warrenty, but does the service have to be done by a Dealership or could my local garage who have been working on my cars for years do it, as tbh they will be cheaper than a dealership and I have more trust in them..

As long as you use Renault parts and get the service book stamped by a VAT company you are OK. iirc
