3G really slow on 4S

My 3G is going really slow on my 4S. It's taking ages for pages to load on Safari, even coming up with a sever connection timed out error at times. It's making reloading on Twitter and Facebook take ages.I haven't changed any settings on my phone at all. Any ideas?

Has the provider reduced the speed due to you hitting your monthly allowance?

O2 did this to me, forcing me to buy a bolt on. I did get a text to warn me though...

I reckon this must be the answer! I've gone over my allowance and did get a text but didn't read it as I've received one before. Thanks!
