4-2-1 exhaust manifold supplier???

Spoke to Charlie at Prospeed about one and he recommended trying to find an off the shelf model as it's a long job for a custom job. So, anyone know where I might get one?

yep, a 182 one is a lot better than the std 172 one.

where are you based? i know a company in macclesfield who will do u one. I was also told that there wasnt much point in a stainless as the clios manifold already gets the most performance it can (that was on a 1.2 16v though lol) as said above best bet is a 182 one

What did the manifold cost and how much was fitting?

sorry for delay only just re-found this post, had mani fitted and cat removed, made the car feel very rev happy higher up, but car needs the SMPT6 fitted and mapped to get maximum gain, once i can afford to gwet billet cams and mani work done ill get it sorted

Gained around 5bhp with the de cat and mani, with a re-map this should be 10 to 12 bhp ive been told but ill beleive that when i see it

Got manifold for £195 from A5 auto salvage in Hockliffe..... Had to do a lot of sweet talking to get them to part with it minus the engine tho.....

K-tec do one complete with a sports cat but it's bloody expensive at around £600.

Also, with any upgrade like this youre only going to get the most out of it if the car is mapped after fitting.

Sorry, yes it's for a ph1 172. So a 182 manifold fits ok. Would be doing this along with inlet mani, remap and cams. Cheers for replies

should make some nice gains doing that lot. Are you going for angelworks billet cams? would think you'd be getting close to 200bhp with that lot

no it dont fit ok you've got to have a front section made up for it as the 182 manifold is longer,supersprint do a 4-2-1 manifold for the 172 but gains arnt gonna be brilliant as it no bigger than the 172 unit
