I remember reading a guide by Rally Design a few years ago about choosing the right piston size for 4 pots. See here http://www.rallydesign.co.uk/pdf/designing_4_pot_brakes.pdf
Now it says for working out a suitable 4 piston replacement for single piston callipers with sliders that the area of the piston should be doubled.
So even though the Clio has a single 54mm piston giving 2290 sq. mm. you have to take it as 4580 sq.mm. How does that work? There aren't 2 pistons per calliper, you're only moving 1 per side when you push the pedal.
Am I missing something....?!
