4 wheel alinement

I need to get this done to straighten out my steering wheel, am i right to just trust the tyre place its going to get the right settings etc, and he wants 50 quid for it, didnt sound too bad to me???

or does anyone know anywhere esle in the leeds area that could do it RIGHT!

"4 wheel" isnt really possible on a clio as theres no adjustment on the back for anything.

£50 seems steep, but ive seen it for more. Best advice is shop around.
Its a huge con takes about 5 min to do but people pay through the nose for it.

Yep but it will show if the rear axle's bent.

My local back street garage does mine for £35 much better than Renault dealerships.

I think mines bent which is making the handling abit funny. Renault warently might be having a call tomorrow. I don't understand why a rear axle has bent in three years its got to be a manurfacturing failure.

Get some camber bolts and get them fitted for the front while you're at it!

I pay £35 at Demon Tweeks for 4 wheel Laser Alignment .. Its usually takes about half an hour and you get a print out showing the corrections they have made e.g before and after

seems steep. I have had mine laser aligned at 2 places. National tires and Dexel. Dexel is 10er all the time and national is usually 20 but 10 on offer. It is laser alignment as well.

Wouldn't pay more than £35. 4-wheel is useless tbh if you've bent the rear subframe you're pretty fucked and looking at a ridiculas repair bill. Been there, done that... hehe.

yeh sometimes you need to request them to lock ur wheel in place. they use this device that rests on your seat to do it. My steering wheel was way out and it was just the tracking nothing was actually bent. clios seem quite prone to it actually.

it costs me £24 for wheel alignment and £8 balancing at a place caled PROTYRE near me in enfield. £50 is a bit too much

i use stapletons.. way better than any otherplace.. they.. use lazers, some tricked up computer, adjust the cast, and toe..shim it for £75..

but i only pay £30!
