to be honest, I hate to start counting, monitors, hdds and quad cpu are in the region of £800 alone, the initial setup (Dual Core, 2GB memory was £1300 over a year ago, not inc the expensive Nvidia case)

  Renault Clio 1.4
very nice system you got there, my mates got a decent system and makes me laff when ya see the size of the fan jsut for the graphics cards, that shows how powerful the badboy is!

  Ultra Blue R26
My score is 5.8 because of my hard disk everything else is 5.9.

Spec:
Gigabyte P35-DS3R
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4Ghz (at 3.0Ghz)
ZALMAN CNPS9700-LED COOLER
4 x 1gb Corsair TwinX XMS2 PC2-6400
512Mb MSI 8800GT
Cheap Maxtor 250Gb SATA main drive
Western Digital 500Gb SATA data drive
580W HyperPower PSU

Awesome, bought my computer back last year when you where looking for your new one. I get 5.5 on mine, think the HDD lets it down a bit.

Love the monitors, really need to sort a new one out for me

  Better than yours. C*nt.
FYI i get 5.9 on my WD 500gigx2 RAID 0. don't need raptors for 5.9

Well ner, I've got 4x74Gb Raptors in RAID0 and get around 450MB/sec disk throughput. And I've had 5.9 on Vista scale for a year, i'm keen for them to extend it to see the results.

System spec:
Intel Core2 Q6600 G0-stepping 2.4Ghz @ 3.8Ghz/1.4v vCore (Watercooled)
4Gb OCZ Reaper HPC DDR-1066 @ 1333/2.2v
eVGA nVidia GeForce 9800GX2 SSC @ 700Mhz/2200Mhz (Watercooled)
AMCC/3Ware 9690SA SAS/SATA-II RAID controller, 512Mb Cache w/BBWC
4x74Gb Western Digital Raptor 10,000RPM disks RAID-0 (System/Boot, these drives are the later NCQ-capable drives w/16Mb cache)
4x1Tb Hitachi Deskstar 7K1000 7,200RPM disks RAID-5 (Data, w/32Mb cache)
Asus Maximus Formula X38 Motherboard (watercooled NB/SB/Mosfets)
Auzentech X-Fi Prelude
Enermax Galaxy 1kW Powersupply
Zalman MFC-2
iMon VFD
Dell 2707WFP Monitor
Logitech G15 Keyboard and G5 Mouse
Coolermaster Stacker T-01 with two radiators - 3x120mm and 1x120mm

No probs! :D mine's running Vista Business 32-bit SP1. Unless you're running MORE than 4Gb, then 64-bit actually COSTS you performance and memory as the 64-bit extensions use more memory than you 'lose' by running 32-bit...

Sorry, was aimed as a general pointer for people. Feel free to put your handbag down and step back if you're taking offence, as you appear to be slightly disturbed by my input...

your so weird, everytime a pc spec is posted, you have to start crticising or sticking your spec in, who the f**k cares. Stop trying to hijack, anyone who is interested already knows what spec your running, well done, sure your mum will give you a medal.

And in future when you start giving out your 'general pointers' you might want to think about posting a source instead of tihnking everyone just believes what you put down on a forum thread.
