50,586 miles or 4 years 11 months

Finally worn my pads out on the 182, not bad going. Wish I could make my front tyres last as long!!!

Anyone got that beat? lol

  Bus w**ker
What pads were they and do you not brake or something? lol

That's some good going, I'd not leave mine that long though personally.

  Fiesta ST2
mine lasted 11k mile on the 1.2 tce clio (about 6 months) but the ones I replaced with are better at breaking and have lasted 23k mile so far and are not even half worn!

They were the OEM pads, I've owned the car from new. I kept them on until worn out. I just don't use the brakes often and when I do fairly lightly. If you're looking ahead when driving you can get away with using them very little tbh. I don't drive like a queer either for anyone wondering. The 6k I tend to get out of a pair of front tyres are testament to that, lol.

When i bought my car on 36K the pads and disks were shot all round, I mean scored to f**k disk with no material on the pads, feckin woman drivers!

  GW 200
My rears lasted 62k miles, 4 & 4 months.

But i got it at 56k miles so thats me guessing previous owners never replaced them :rasp: They were falling apart.

Si, you only left them 4 years and 11 months because your tight.

If it aint broke don't fix it tbh. They had material still left, discs were still over min thickness and all was operating properly. Why change them when they don't need changing? Next you'll be saying you throw away tyres with 5 mm tread left on them ;)

I'm talking about the fronts here not rears which lets face it do very little work.
