50 inch HDTV

girlfriends parent's are buying a new tv.

although someone in the shop said the sharp 50 inch would be better than the philips 50 inch.(pictured). because of something to do with the way the pixels worked...

i prefer the philips cause you get the ambi-light thing which is quite funky.

both retail at £1999.

Agreed, a 50" pioneer is the way forward. Plus if you shop around you can get them for under £2K now.
