50k on a T REG 1999

lo all i got a T reg 1999 clio 1.2 and ive just hit 50k is that good mileage for the age of the car?

average mileage at around 12k per year . so 8 years should be 96k

50k is defo good mileage imo

Depends how is been driven and serviced.

Personaly that a bit low for my liking I'd prefere higher miles. Shows the cars only done short journeys most likly which does more harm might as ell save a few quid get a higher milage one which most likly has the same wear

as above, was a p reg on 50k, and the engine was just a mess

when i bought the car back in feb it had just over 47k on it and ive just passed 50k buy 70ish miles and it seems to be running fine pulls on hills and get up to speed ok so i think its sound was just wondering if it was high milage or not thats all

not always true though. Car might have only been used to visit relatives or something... so few long journeys... but i see what you mean on the whole oil isn't heated up properly, parts not at optimum temperature etc etc.

I use to have one, I brought brand new T reg clio back in 1999.

I had it for 7 year & they are great little clio engine & never have problem

After buying a 1996 BMW with 76k on the clock i would never buy a below average mileage car again! Good luck with it tho!

I also have a T reg 1999, got it in march with 48.5k on the clock, not had a SINGLE problem at all with it in the 8k ive put on it since!

my T reg is on 135k recent cambelt n aux, still runs sweet as a nut
