Mechanic took my clio to the MOT test centre this morning and on the way, some A$$wipe business man in a brand new company car mondeo ran into the front of my clio, while mechanic was driving it. realistically, what do you guys think will happen? the mechanic said he will sort it all out, reckons ill get a new car cause this ones written off, who will pay for what? it was the other guys fault and theres witnesses to prove this. Im so angry as i was just bout to sell it to my mate, and i have no damn car for work now! the rear seats have caved outwards for some reason and wont go back, i think the shell has been bent somehow :/ thank god i didnt leave the de-cat on

If its been written off then mondeo mans insurance company will pay for it if its his fault. The mechanic will have been driving on his insurance (I hope!) so they may well want to get involved as well.

Be prepared to fight for more money though if they do write it off - never take the first offer! Its always too low.

Good luck though Hope you get it sorted quickly! Nothing more annoying than being carless due to some muppet...

i hope you or mr mondeos not insurerd with norwich union. took me almost 6 months to get my sons valver sorted out with them . nightmare.

cheers guys for the info, what would you guys say i should accept? its k reg rt 1.4, about 90k miles, e/w, remote c/l, cobra alarm, i took all my alloys, exhast off etc incase some pikey nicked em.
