  Clio 182
Can i lower my car 60mm, all round, without fitting new shocks, just the springs?! it's lowered 30mm atm but i wunna go lower :D! is it just a case of minding the pot holes in the road or do you have to replace the std shocks?! i haven't got the money to go coilover route, wud like to tho!

Cheers

you don't have to replace the shox, i haven't on mine. Just bare in mind that the standard ones will ware out faster and yes the ride will be harsher, much harsher

If you lower at all the ride won't be perfect. I'd aleways recomend changing shocks.
You can go down 90mm on custom spring but lhow long the dampers last is anyone guess.

looks sweat, are they 16s?! any probs wit rubbing?! thats the main reason i wunna go lower, the gap between the front wheel arch and the alloy is stupidly high, even with a 30mm drop!

what size wheels/tyres you running mate? Mine are 16's yeah, on 205/45 tyres. I get no rubbing at the rear at all, just get a slight rub on full lock from front passenger side wheel.
