70mm Jenvey worth upgrading to?

Is it worth upgrading to the above on a car (ph1 172) with the usual breathing mods, cams, headwork, inlets, 182 mani, zorst etc etc ?

Thats what i like, straight to the point no bull s**t lol

I know in the past this subject has had mixed views and the cup racers manage fine on the smaller TB's but just thought id ask as im aiming to get the car in for its final tweek on the map when i get round to it

bigger TB will give better throttle response, but not a direct power increase because of the body on its own. Works fantastic on a high compression engine though

I was told by AWT it is very expensive (more than gettting inlets done) to get the throttle body matched

It only takes a matter of minutes to bolt an inlet and plenum on a jig... select the correct program, press the start button and the CNC "matches" them for you ;)

I guess no more than a 20min process for the CNC machine..
