8v or 16v

hi all

the car that im just about to get off my aunt in a 1.2 rt 1998 i dont know if it is an 8v or a 16v and wat does the rt bit stand for?

the onther question is will and induction kit (pipercross) made for a 1.2 16v fit on a 1.2 v8

im quite sure it'll be a 8v buddy. the rt is just a trim level. think its quite a high trim. better than a rn atleast.

yea the RT is a trim level. RL + RN are the worse, i had a RL for my 1st car i miss my lil Purple Banger lol! the RT have a rev counter 2!!!! lol

8V only I think they were made.

RT stands for Renault touring I think.

Induction kit won't fit directly I don't think you could make it fit no question though.
