Tried this friday on the way home from work. Got 91mph in 3rd. Car not remapped either.
Some 172's where fitted with standard renault dials imo. Absolutely shocking by renault imo, utter negligance to fit a top of the range car with dials that are inadiquate because the rev limiter is higher than the dials read.
To the actual question 90 in 3rd sounds about right judging by vids i have seen on youtube etc and its usually around 110-115 in 4th.

1/4 mile 14.9 @ 92mph
92 sounds about right, mine does about 90ish in third gear at the 7200rpm limit
Yeh think it got to around 115mph in 4th, them the limiter in 5th
