Yes i have fully hard wired it into his new 182

Hidden wires and fully wired into car ignition.

Also installed RA2 spot on middle of dash so reception is spot on and does nto require external antenna.

has, i had mine on the middle of the dash like that, but i kept loosing signal, how do you make it work all the time, i tried it all around the square bit ??, or have you put it elsewhere

Had same problem as Blue 182, the unit would work in the middle off screen, but I doubt the laser sensor would work due to the wipers. The unit also took a long time to start up for the first time. If the unit dropped signalon the move it would not pick up again unless I stopped. Since installing the additional attenna It works aswell as it did before in my non relective screen equipped car.

Hmmmm

ive only ever had 1 carwhere it hasnt worked and that was CupCakes Cup which didnt even have heat reflective screen!!!!

Im sure Jay will get soem pics up of it soon.

I place it in the middle of the screen in the cut out, i managed to get it set as far back as you can.

Ive isntalled over 50 of these now andnot had any major problems with reception.

Jay picks up reception within 10secs which i thaught was bloody good.

Also if anyone does hardwire these in, please rmemeber that you need to Fuse the unit as hard wiring removes the fuse from the cigarette lighter adaptor
