A car with real character

Im pretty sure theres some truth in the old adage that a car has a personality.

I know that people call their cars "she" and so on, but I really do give my car a pat on the dashboard and say "come on boy, lets go out" to it. Im pretty sure that all my cars have had tantrums on me, but also rewarded me with the best drives of my life after theyve had a 3-stage Meiguars wax!

Am I just being stupid and superstitious, or are your cars like this too?

With my Valver I have found myself tapping the dashboard after an outing, talking to it, encouraging it, shouting & swearing at it. As its a Red car, my instints told me it was a She. Also the fact that it bitched and moaned at me, broke down and was off the road for a week every month. ;) But i do agree, after a Zymol she used to ride like a queen!

  Revels Mum & Sister

I know what you mean!! I polished her Yesterday! And in the Evening Sierra Cosworth (bog standard only a dump valve) pulls up next to me and revs away! We pull of the lights. He spins for a bit I get a perfect launch and by the time we merge at about 60 mph He is behind too far to catch. She loved it

Hehe Seems silly but its all good!

think i break the mould here then. my cars a bloke! always give him a pat on top of the dash giving it a "come on fella" etc. treat him as one of the lads! pretty sad really! lol
