A Few of the Z4 in the sun:

Well I was going to try to learn to use my camera today, but time got the better of me and then upon arriving a Bluewater I had a few spare minutes, here's the results... (not great, but better than my iPhone attempts).

I had far too much fun driving it yesterday so blasted through a load of petrol, so it got a quick going over this morning:

Cheeky inside shot for those who haven't seen it:

Last photo before some old lady in a merc asked if she could "watch" me take photos? At which point I left.

Cheers Grayson.

The above lol good tbf.

I still think you should do what we we're talking about last night.

Gorgeous. Them wheels are really growing on me too.

Cheers, I wasn't sure on the wheels at first but the style definitely does grow on you, quite weird how it does because I'm pretty sure before I owned one they never even stood out as being OK wheels..

My memory obviously sucks... refresh?

Poser! Very nice

I had someone shout "Posing t**t" at me the other day. I thought it to be quite the compliment!

Laaarvley. So clean and fresh looking.

Silver on silver does that for you! I need to dedicate some time to cleaning a few bits up still though.

these really are growing on me.looks superb!

I love it, I want one.

Cheers chaps, Girlsname, just buy one!

Brilliant!

Pal at work just bought a brand new black one and he's a bit of a poser, so give him some good banter for it. Hope he drives past the same person! lol

I'd love one tbh, but think the 1 series Coupe is next for me!

That's what I'd quite like after, but I may go for running two cars, one really daft. All depends upon work.

The hockey sticks.

Oh yeah! My memory is awesome. I'll consider doing it, there's a guide and everything.

I'm also going to be having a go at fixing this myself:

The whole bumper needs a re-spray really, so I figure if I mess up blending this in, it's no big deal. It was the damage left behind from the block that had been dropped on the roundabout a few months ago.

Loving it as standard Rob.

I'm sick of seeing your car on the forum though, always gets me looking at them on PH and I can't be buying one yet!

Cheers chaps :)

Not entirely....

I've told him that learning in full manual is the only 'real' way to learn. C'mon Robert!

Does look superb though Rob. Like the first pic.

Cheers mate, I liked the last one best?

I'm going to print off those crash 'tog guides that were on here ages ago, I PDF'd them at the time, and read them on the plane. Hopefully I'll get lots of practice shooting in full manual on holiday.

Loving it as standard Rob.

Sorry dude, I'll PM you a picture weekly now until you break... ;) I'm trying to generate enough cars for a z4 sub forum.

Just stick with AV (Aperture) and TV (Shutter for now) and work them out individually. I rarely use full manual as most of the time I only need/want to control one thing.

Shots are quite good composition wise. 2 and 3 seem a bit close for my liking. A car park is never going to lead to the most exciting photos anyway.

Rob gave me the same advice, so I guess I'll ignore Luke. ;)

I wasn't impressed with 3 at all, I thought I'd got dead square with the back of the car but I really hadn't, totally ruined that one really and wasn't going to post it.

Cheers for the critique though, I'll go take some interesting city shots or something when I get a bit better.

LOL nooo! Annoyingly I've pushed my need for house purchase back another 6 months so could buy a Zed now. But now I'm going to try for a bigger house so will need the extra savings for that :(

Gorgeous car mate, we have a 3.0 too, real animal, considering its not even close to M powered model, it's still brilliantly quick!
Handling is excellent, is this a sport spec with Msport suspension and the sport button?
The ass end tucks in so nicely on exiting bends, can get it squealing no problem.
First thing to do, remove the sponges out of the sound generator under the bonnet, it's only found in 3.0 models and suppresses the noise soooo much it's ridiculous! Remove it and the engine sounds amazing in the cabin, like some sort of GT car!
Had ours 2 years and bought a pipercross panel filter and did the sound generator mod about 3 weeks ago, wish I'd done it 2yrs ago!!
Here's ours, can't find anymore photos on my phone!

Such a brilliant car though, so well sorted and such bargains!!

Oh and the crazy camber is totally normal, and you definitely have the best wheels, they're actually BBS..!

Yep it's the sport spec :) I've added some extras too so it's nearly full specced now! I REALLY want CSL's because they just look amazing on them, but I don't know whether to throw £1000 at it just for wheels...

Foam mod already done  couldn't be without it.

Spec wise I'm pretty much there:

Sports Spec (button, suspension)
Heated, electric, memory leather
Tyre pressure sensors
Cruise control
Auto lights and wipers

I know they're BBS wheels, but some of them look so damn nice on the CSL's, but I'll probably then need eibach's too... and a Msport front bumper... and then clear lights... and I'd never stop.

Are the heated memory seats, cruise, auto lights/wipers, tyre sensors extras or standard spec? We have those features, didn't know if that's special order on a sport?
The stereo is astonishing too, have had Bose in audis and the BMW system blows it sideways, it just will not distort or break down no matter what you do! 6 cd changer plus single loader, brilliant idea!
Seen one with CSLs, does look nice but not worth the outlay IMO...
Yeah sound generator made such unbelievable difference, as you say, couldn't be without it now!

Is the carbon effect trim around gearknob from a newer one? Looks really nice, and gearknob is shorter and black, again, looks really nice. Did you do that yourself?

Listen to the intelligent ones... Luke just bought a pink Mk1. What does he know !

Gimme a shout if you want to do a photoshoot one day soon. Wherever you fancy...

Bring your laptop and a tripod.

Seen these and obvs yours from the outside but never seen the interior.

Looks like a nice place to be in :)

Should have jumped in at some point, every one else does!

I've done carbon effect gear surround, ash tray, grab handles and window switches. More details are in my project thread. That's also a BMW MSport weighted gear knob. All of which I did myself, the shorter, weighted gear knob is much better.

Deal. Probs when I'm back from holiday, have a think about locations and I will too.
