Golf GT & A4 Avant
I've had a bit of a search and not really found answers, but I'm gonna be in need of another full set of tyres before christmas. So far I managed 18k miles on the first 4tyres, and I'm just breaking 18k miles on my second set of 4.
I've stuck with PE2's so far but am thinking of trying either eagle F1 gsd3 or something else.
My questions are:
1 - I currently run 205's as its a 182, but theres a lot more choice and a minimal saving if I switch to 195's. Will I ever notice the difference in terms of grip and handling. I don't intend to track the car either so it'll just be fast road use.
2 - the standard 182 tyres have a speed rating V, but again there's a much wider choice if I go for W/Y/Z. I'm guessing the higher speed rating the harder compund? therefore maybe less grip? Is this right
