Throttle bodies really are an awesome bit of kit.
The first 'fast' car I drove was, believe it or not, 2litre XE Nova on Throttle Bodies....I would own one any day. 230bhp, instant power and the noise was like nothing else.
Bet you can't wait to get it back Chris!
Bit of an unknowledgable question but i'm guessing the use for the filter is because they can suck stuff in? I've seen alot of cars run without filters but most of the trumpets face to the rear? I guess with them being where they are on the clio they are in a prime place for sucking up bits and small children etc?!

is by far one of the best conversions i think you have ave chose a good choise!!
Picked it up yesterday. My god it's quick and the sound is amazing. My friend compared it to an Aston Martin. Not quite...
GDI have a lot of video footage which may/may not be uploaded at some point when they are not so busy but if it's not then i'll upload some soon.
People will get to see it at FCS anyway on the GDI stand.
The car just never stops accelerating. So much pull even in 4th and 5th going up a hill.
I keep looking out for low tunnels now to wind down the window and hear the monster. Scared the crap outa some poor guy in a tunnel. At the moment I seem to be driving everywhere in 1st, 2nd and 3rd only lol just to hear the growl.
I'm addicted!

Think I got a bit excited whilst down @ GDI and when I took my car out for a test run with Andy and Gary I overtook in a few silly places.
They have nerves of steel though so no worries there.
Fuel consumption is better than I thought it would be thanks to some accurate mapping.
I'll get some more pics up 2moro.
