A LOT les valvers and willaims on the road....

is it just me or is there loads and loads of mk1 valver and willaims parts on ebay, and being advertised in mags at the moment?
Do you think its down to al ot of them being broken for parts, and that they will start to become a rare (r??) sight on the roads?

I hardly ever see Valvers, RSIs and Williams'. I think you're right about the parts thing - same thing with 205 GTis, R5 GTTs etc.

Just older cars, it's what happens.

well i think i have started a trend were i live, there was none when i bought my valver, now i have seen 1 other valver, 1 williams and a girl i know bought an rsi

I drove my williams all the back from storage near berkshire to north yorkshire and i never saw one valver/williams/rsi etc...

although i did see a fair few 172's etc....

Hardly ever see williams' but there's a few valvers knocking around this area.

they are all rusting away! - was the same with the gte16v - great car but rear arch rusting and many crashed have made them rare

theres quite a few valvers this way now dan. You got one, midge now has one, there is one always parked up a road on my way to work and some bird at work has one. and gues what?......they are all blue apart from my luuuurrrvly Naples!! lol!!!

To be honest though i know mines like fully mint, but you really have treat it with commitment! I mean ive already spent about £80 just on rust protection treatments etc... I know its now 10yrs old and got a few character stone chips n what ave ya, but you only really respect its beauty when ya get it out for a drive and it still feels like brand new!

Yeah I know what you mean, My valver is in good condition but the amount of times I'm out there cleaning it! lol hard work.. like you say, feels tight as a nut when i drive it though.

Mint Williams' are very hard to come by so I'll be lucky to find one in a few years.

ive only seen one other williams on the road whilst ive been out in my willy and he gave me a flash of the lights and a wave. no actually ive seen 2 but both acknowledged me. great having a rare car which is also a classic

There's a few near me now, Slithers and Griff both have valvers and I see a MINT white one with some little hottie driving it and there's another lad round the corner from me with a minty fresh blue phase 2... then theirs my sisters mates boyfriend who has a Wiliams look-a-like (now I say this in the loosest sense possible).

Oh, another mate of mine sold an M reg 50k odd Willy 2 to his neighbour as well... for only £1500 too... he never bothered checking what they were worth... what a dick...
