a lot of steering feedback

feels like im going over bumps alot of the time

have recently had new front tyres and lowered my car, both professionally with well known and trusted people (ie no probs in the last 4 years)

what is worth checking?

help please, i now swear something is loose as im getting the strut top knocking on full lock as well, its really starting to worry me :S

check all the bolts etc around the suspension etc to see if anythings loose?

thats what i was thinking, there does seem to be a lot of movement on the strut tops, when ever the car has been moved the strut top covers seem to be in a completely different place, higher, lower, to the side :S

is the movement in my strut tops, ie the rubber part, normal? it seems to shift when ever i check the car.

Mine does it so I presum so mate. Try pulling the wheel back and forth and wobbling it in and out. It should be rock solid. If it moves, jack it up and get under while someone rocks it to see where it's coming from. Sounds abit like a balljoint TBH....

strut tops move as u turn the wheel jamie, dont know though,..

...had it tracked recently, i had alot of steering wobble and felt like it was wandering around ALOT and it was the tracking...

had it tracked a while ago, im just worried that the t**t that fitted the new tyres has not balanced them right. going to get them checked tomorrow, then do 75 in it which is where the bumps occur.

ill get the boys to have a quick gander.

if worst comes to worst ill lob it into pauls in leeds
