A new Renault Sport badge... Advice please

  Formally Clio 182
Hi

I'm picking myself a one of those new renault sport 197 badges tommorow and was hoping to fit it in the evening onto my 182.

Please can anyone give any advise for removing/fitting badges in a safe step-by-step guide so I don't screw up and ruin the paintwork?

Appreciated, Thanks.

use a hairdryer to heat the badges when removing , the heat will loosen the glue residue behind the badges .

clean thoroughly before putting new badges on , try autoglym tar remover if required for stubborn marks .

badges should pull away easily when warm .

Thanks!

I heard from someone that you need to use 'dental floss' too. Or were they just joking?!
