A plan? or a fcuk up?

ok guys and gals , i came up with a plan, I have managed to get hold of a mk1 clio 5 door 1.4RT BUT i can also get hold of a mk1 clio 3 door 1.8 16 valve which needs about 400 spending so it can pass the MOT and im 17 on saturday and my first driving lesson is on monday, this is where i thort of a plan, whilst i an doing my driving lessons ect i can put a car together ready for me to drive!!! IF i pass my test *fingers crossed*

THE PLAN
My plan is to maybe get the 1.4RT engine taken out of the 5 door and have it put in the valver shell, because my brother wants a new 1.8 engine for his valver, leaving him with the old engine for his car!!! now IF the engine gets put into the valver shell its going to have all the flaired wings, 16valve interior brakes ect so in my eyes its going to be alot safer than a clio 1.4RT sub frame ect because it got brakes to support the power of a 1.8! (and its only going to have a 1.4 in it) and this is where another problem occours

THE PROBLEM!!
And my main problem is....AM i going to get insured on the car once its got the 1.4RT engine in it...? or am i going to get insured but get fucked in the ass. (over expensive insurance price) I have looked on the internet and it only says the engine cc ect and i cant put anywhere that its a 1.8 16valve chassis ect but a 1.4 engine dropped in it, what do u guys think? Am i just being stupid or do you think its a plan!

Thanks in advance for any comments/views ( good or bad)

I've been on ClioSport for years.. and I don't think I've ever known anyone to put a 1.4 in a Valver..

I wouldn't know what the insurance companies make of it... but it might be high, because on the outside, it still looks like a Valver! + It's an engine conversion.. and I don't think they like them much..

It might be quite a bit of work too..

Personally, I'd stick with the 1.4..

^^^ yeah me to...the 1.8 body isnt going to be any saffer, they will both crumble to nothing in a crash...

if you want it for looks, you'd be better of swapping body panels if its possible...

i agree with Daz - putting a 1.4 in place of a 1.8 16v is unheard of...lol.

oh yeah, and they'll probably rape your ass so wide on the insurrance it wont be possible to sit in the car to drive it lol.
