Nimbus 197
I've selected a few photos from my trip that I'd like to share with you CS folks. They're in no particular order. Comments and criticisms welcome!
[1] Street candid in Tai Po.
[2] Ocean Park trams. Luckily it wasn't very windy when we went up!
[3] An An @ Ocean Park. She didn't really want to play that day
[4] Victoria Harbour TST side.
[5] Street candid in Beijing, China.
[6] Buddhist Monk kid. He was performing with his fellow brothers but wasn't allowed to photograph that.
[7] Great Wall of China. During my time in China, the weather was dull. Overcast sky/rain every single day. Just my luck!
[8] "Bian Lian" master getting ready to perform. I love watching these performances. (youtube example here) The technique is a closely guarded secret that is one of China's National Treasures.
[9] Lets take a look to see what's on the menu for din dins...."Sheep's Penis" was also available but those weren't on show for some reason.
[10] World Expo @ Shanghai. I've never seen so many people in my entire life. Queuing is practically non-existant and granny's will even use their grandchildren to shield themselves to push their way through. :| Giant animated baby in the Spanish Pavaillion. I managed to get a queue jump for this using a promotional offer that was made available as Spain won the world cup.
[11] Can't remember where this was but it was taken inside a silk factory.
[12] Theatrical performance in Hang Zhou.
[13] aaand back to HK. This fella is a bit of a local hero. I was on a boat trip to an island just outside of HK. On the way their, we dropped him off and collected him on return - approximately a four hour time period. During this time, he swims around this area to catch seafood armed with a polystyrene box, a screwdriver, flippers and some goggles.
[14,15] a couple at Victoria Harbour again...
[16] one at the peak...went for a different approach for this one.
[17] it was ball ache to get back down from the peak! queues for every form of transport...tram was the worst though.
[18,19,20,21] and a few candids at Victoria Harbour (AGAIN!) to finish off.
[22] PS. the driving standards in China is TERRIBLE. I don't think I'll ever complain about UK driving again. A little preview....busted sump!
Sorry for essay. Hope you enjoyed the pics!
