A run in the DC2 after a clean....

Decided to keep the DC2 for a bit longer now, not had much interest which I'm putting down to the time of the year, so thought I'd get a bit more use out of it.

Just fitted a new airfilter to it, new Windscreen and Seals being fitted tomorrow. Oil and filter change due when I can be bothered too!

Had a decent blast for about 100 miles, Through Derbyshire, a bit of Leciestershire, Nottinghamshire and some random small villages! Humbled a few 'better' cars and smoked a few chavs in sheds!

nice man i did the same the other night to clear my head just went on a massive drive through derbyshire notts and back round to leicester lol they really are such good cars, im not actually botherd about sellin mine ill keep it for sale but its a amazing car so no problem with me.

Erm, not too sure to be honest, I just drove around and turned onto roads that looked fun!

I think you should organise another thrash around the peaks with some of the locals again, except this time I shouldn't be kept at the back being slowed down by all those pesky Clios....

Haha, I think something does need to be organised, when the days are longer and the weathers better. This time it needs to be advertised as a drive out though, so people have plenty of fuel

No dude, but they are in much better condition than I remember them being!
Up close theres a few patches of bubbling and some burnt on brake dust, but from a few feet away you'd struggle to notice. Feels a lot more lively and happy back on the 15's too

LOL serious 9mpg? i did use 45 quids worth of petrol up on my drive tho so can imagine that.

Something like that, I managed roughly 1/3rd of a tank on about 30/40 miles I think. I'm sure it worked out to something rediculous like 9mpg!
