If anyone's got any pics then stick them up here!

There used to be a thread on Supercarforums about abandoned cars, and some of them would make you weep....Lambos, Fezzas etc, but the link doesn't work anymore.
If anyone can find it, it's really good, and over 100 pages too.

Ridiculous! Taking the 'rat' look a bit too far maybe? :rasp:

There's money to be had in those old Escorts though - even just the chassis! I've been to two rally events now that have adverts asking for Mk1 and Mk2 Escorts that are for sale - good money given, etc. I guess they don't even need to be a rolling chassis - it's the body itself they are probably after.

That's insane haha, surely someone can replicate them? More money than sense perhaps? ;)

haha that car prison looks amazing iam suprised there still there in the local towns around me they would have been bricked before it even closed down. Theres a 5 turbo not so far away from myself been on bricks since i can remember some old mans apparently

my mate gets mk1s in at work strips them puts cages in paints them and sells them for silly money. if you know what your doing you can make silly amounts on them

That abandoned car lot looks familiar.

I've either seen it online before or driven past it before some time.

I bet that maestro would start first time too :rasp:

the owner of the locked up garage forecourt needs a medal... there are some truly shocking cars there which he's done everyone a favour by taking them off the road!

its the identity they are after, Not the car itself, People can easily build a mint escort but they need an identity to build it onto. They would buy for example that escort and build a completely mint one using none of the parts on the disused one, Just the identity.

And the indentities of works cars that no longer exist fetch SILLY money.

theres a bloke by me who has an abandoned BMW 740I and an ultra rare 850i (remember these) in his front garden, Been ther 10 years+ Covered in moss, stinging nettles etc? The grass is actually higher than the 850i now, Cant have done many miles! Why are they there?

End of the Bartley Green Reservoir bridge if your in the area lol.
