About to clay . . .

  Porsche Boxster987S
but a few questions i need answering please :

1) do i half the clay bar in 2 or use the full bar??
2) do i apply pressure or should it just glide over the panels??
3) if i dont get the car finished tonight can i re-use that bit of caly to finsh it off??
4)where and how would i store the half used clay if it can be used to finish it at a later time??

thanks:)

1) split the clay into two parts if too big, store the other in a zip seal bag or something.
2) dont use any pressure, just light movement and keep it moving.
3) if the clay isnt contaminated with heavy dirt it can be used again.
4) i use a zip seal sandwich bag.

Also warm water in a bowl will make the clay easier to use.

And make sure you use plenty of lube.
