Ok guys here's a strange one!!
my track Clio obviously gets a hard life but got a weird problem at the moment. The speedo started to do the old bouncing around trick from 0 all the way up to 160ish it was all over the place. so I replaced the sensor in the gearbox (Clio 172 with JC5-129 speedo drive gearbox). thought id solved the problem then on the next track day the ABS light came on and the speedo started doing the same again.
My mechanics say they can only talk the ABS computer sometimes, other times its dead. so i'm thinking its a wiring issue. does anyone have any diagrams? or know where these 2 sets of wires meet? my thoughts are that they have probably rubbed through somewhere and are making intermittent connections.
