Accelerating 16v

Is it best to floor it or gradually push down accelarator further in an almost standard valver????

I wouldnt floor it at low revs (like 5th at 30 type low revs) - but for optimum acceleration in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and reverse (!) Id floor it if youre dropping a cog.

floor it. dip the clutch, lean forward, and wear a baseball cap, all proven give the best physical and visual acceleration

Its weird but I am positive my valver pulls quicker and cleaner, not at full throttle (pedal floored) but just a little bit off the floor. Anybody else find this, or is it a peculiarity of me, my car or both, hmm

mines the same, flooring does not do much good, a quick gradual motion i find is better, you get more from it!
