Accurate miles till need to fill with fuel?

Ive recent;y bought a clio 182 and was wondering how accurate the digital reading is for how many miles till i need to fill up with fuel is.

Not very.

Although you have got about 40 miles when the petrol light comes on to get some fuel

Depending on my mood I get between 250 and 300 miles before the fuel light comes on.

If you do long journeys with lots of motorway/DC miles then 340 miles is easily achievable
