I think the OP was refering to detailing specific abbreviations rather than forum ones.

Try this...it's american so some possibly isn't relevant but it does cover a fair amount.

It used to mean this but the semantics and syntax of acronym has changed over time to be inclusive of individual words. So FYI they're still acronyms.
